
Pinho´s Lab was honoured to receive the Best Paper Award 2025 at the Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Immunology (SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Imunologia), which took place in Lisbon last April.

Our latest publication, published in the journal Gut Microbes, delves into how the glycosylation of the gut mucosa impacts the crosstalk between microbiota and immune cells in the context of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

The 2nd GlycanTrigger General Assembly Meeting has concluded successfully in Leiden, The Netherlands. Hosted by Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), the two-day event brought together researchers and collaborators from all partners across Europe and USA to discuss the latest developments in the project.

Pedro Almeida, a research technician in the group has been awarded an Immunology Letters Short-term Fellowship by the European Federation of Immunology Societies.
