The 2nd GlycanTrigger General Assembly Meeting has concluded successfully in Leiden, The Netherlands. Hosted by Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), the two-day event brought together researchers and collaborators from all partners across Europe and USA to discuss the latest developments in the project.

Inês Alves, a researcher in Pinho's Lab, won the Best Paper Award 2023 from the Sociedade Portuguesa de Imunologia (SPI) for her paper titled "Host-derived mannose glycans trigger a pathogenic γδ T cell/IL-17a axis in autoimmunity" published in Science Translational Medicine.

Pedro Almeida, a research technician in the group has been awarded an Immunology Letters Short-term Fellowship by the European Federation of Immunology Societies.
