New ICG article published in Nature Immunology identifies early IgG glycosylation alterations in Crohn’s Disease

Exciting news! In our most recent publication, we unveil a novel glycan signature in serum IgG antibodies years before the diagnosis of Crohn’s disease. In addition to predating Crohn’s disease and being associated with its complications, we show how this glycan signature elicits pro-inflammatory immune responses and contributes to disease susceptibility.

Beatriz Santos-Pereira secures Fellowship by the European Federation of Immunology Societies

PhD student, Beatriz Santos-Pereira, has been awarded the EFIS-Immunology Letters Short-term Fellowship. Beginning in September 2024, she will undertake a three-month research internship at Leiden University Medical Center, supervised by Professors Manfred Wurher and Paul Hensbergen.
