
Eduarda Leite-Gomes, a PhD Student from Pinho’s Lab, has recently been awarded with a short-term fellowship from the Federation of European Biochemical Societies.

Pedro Cabral and Ana Campar have recently been awarded by NEDAI (Núcleo de Estudos de Doenças Auto-Imunes) at its XI National Congress, which also marked the XXX Annual Meeting of Autoimmunity in Portugal. Each was distinguished by their pioneering work in lupus nephritis and idiopathic inflammatory myopathies, respectively.

Catarina Azevedo, Srishti Shah and Rafaela Nogueira – PhD students from Pinho’s lab – have recently been awarded with Travel Grants from the European Federation for Immunological Sciences (EFIS)! In addition, Catarina Azevedo awarded EMBO and SPI grants for a research secondment in Switzerland.

Inês Alves, a researcher in Pinho's Lab, has been awarded a prestigious €10,000 Exploratory Research Grant by the European Society for Clinical Investigation (ESCI).

PhD student, Beatriz Santos-Pereira, has been awarded the EFIS-Immunology Letters Short-term Fellowship. Beginning in September 2024, she will undertake a three-month research internship at Leiden University Medical Center, supervised by Professors Manfred Wurher and Paul Hensbergen.

Carolina Dantas, has been awarded a €6,300 research grant from the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) and the Immunology Letters (IL). This grant will fund her internship at LUMC Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands.

Guilherme Faria has been awarded a prestigious research scholarship by the Portuguese League Against Cancer.
