Eduarda Gomes awarded with a FEBS Fellowship for Secondment in Germany

Eduarda Leite-Gomes, a PhD Student from Pinho’s Lab, has recently been awarded with a short-term fellowship from the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS).

This fellowship will allow Eduarda to conduct a secondment in the Institute of Microbiology, Infectious Diseases and Immunology (University of Charité. Berlin) as part of her doctoral project. Thus, Eduarda aims to learn and apply innovative techniques to uncover how innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) contribute to gut homeostasis and understand their response to the mucosal glycocalyx in disease settings.
