Our PhD student, Catarina Azevedo, has secured a prestigious grant from FLAD for her project titled “Reprogramming of T cells Glycosylation: a novel immunotherapeutic strategy for Colorectal Cancer Prevention.” Partnering with the University of Pittsburgh, she aims to explore the impact of T cell glycosylation on colorectal cancer progression and develop a new immunotherapy approach. This recognition underscores the exceptional quality of our research at i3S, University of Porto, and fosters closer collaborations between institutions in Portugal and the USA, driving advancements in cancer treatment.
